Gatwiri Kinya Kirimi is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Water Sector Trust Fund (WaterFund).
Ms. Gatwiri Kirimi is a seasoned governance, technology and business executive with over two decades of leadership experience spanning corporate governance, ICT entrepreneurship, business development and commercial strategy. She is the Founder and former Managing Director of Inforparts Technologies Limited, an ICT enterprise she established and successfully led for over fifteen years, building strategic partnerships with leading global technology brands including HP, Dell and Microsoft.
Ms. Kirimi served for six years on the Council of the Kenya School of Government, where she chaired both the Human Resource Committee and the Finance and General Purpose Committee. Her governance experience encompasses strategic planning, financial and fiduciary oversight, risk management, policy formulation, procurement governance and institutional sustainability.
Ms. Kirimi’s broader leadership and public service experience includes serving as Director of ICT for the IAAF U20 World Championships 2020 Local Organising Committee, and a member of both the ICT Sector Board and Gender and Youth Sector Board at the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). She has also held leadership positions in Rotary International as Assistant Governor, District 9210, and President of the Rotary Club of Hurlingham.
Ms. Kirimi currently works in business development within the geospatial and digital transformation sector, engaging government, development partners and private-sector organisations. Earlier in her career, she spent nine years at General Motors East Africa, gaining extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, distribution and commercial operations.
She holds a Master of International Business Administration in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from United States International University (USIU), Nairobi. She is a two-time ICT Woman of the Year Award recipient, recognised by the Computer Society of Kenya in 2016 and 2018.
